Iceland 2022 Photo Diary

Seljalandsfoss

In early September, I went to Iceland for the first time.

My friend from high school (and now co-worker) came with me for a 6-day road trip along the southern coast of Iceland.

I’d wanted to visit Iceland for so long, especially after hearing about it from friends at work and of course, the internet.

After a lot of researching and planning, some serious waiting (8-ish months after we booked the flights), a COVID scare, and a lot of long work days, we did it!

If you’ve been considering taking a trip to Iceland, do it. I’m already brainstorming for my next trip back to finish the Ring Road and see both the northern coast of the country, but also the highlands in the middle. If you have any recommendations, let me know!

A detailed itinerary of how we spent our trip is coming, but for now, I’m going to let these photos speak for themselves.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and stay curious!
